While I'm still interested in what happens with Ayla, the rest of the story is slow-going. Jondalar has been getting on my nerves. While I logically understand his thoughts and behavior, his shame of Ayla's upbringing is very off-putting and pisses me off. I'm curious to see how her relationship with Janec evolves.
