Mitabird

The main plot of the story involves Holden's maker, Rebecca, asking Secret to find her lover's missing niece as a favor. As plots go, I liked this one. I was engaged the whole time and I felt some things moved forward in the story as well. 

I still like the scenes involving Secret and Holden. If I'm being honest, she just needs to pick him so I don't have to read anything involving the wolves. I feel like a parrot repeating myself, but I don't like that story line at all. I absolutely hate Lucas. He is a big asshole and constantly makes decisions for Secret without telling her the consequences of these decisions. What pisses me off more is that she comes to except his control over her life with little resistance. Yeah, she gets mad, but it lasts all of five seconds. 

Her other werewolf lover, Desmond, does nothing for me. He's a lot nicer than Lucas and actually is supportive of Secret. I don't think I'm going to get my wish as far as the wolves are concerned. While I plan on reading the next book, I'm not sure how much further into the series I'm going to continue.
